Cost: $200/Person (+-) (Accommodations & Guide Fees)

These are considered partially guided trips. You will be accompanied by Tom Zarecki, NYS Licensed Guide #6553 every morning to head to the river. Tom will spend each day on the river, intermittently helping everyone as needed throughout the day with the basic techniques, methods & proper rigging required to have a successful trip on the Salmon River for years to come. Tom will set you up on his most productive spots with the right fly patterns based on the river conditions to get the job done! 


*2 Week Notice Requested - Fee may be charged at guides discretion for "last minute" bookings

*25% Deposit is required on all trips.

*Cancellations must be no less than 36hrs before scheduled trip or deposit will be forfeited.

*Anglers Den reserves the right to adjust Guide Fees for Trips with special requirements (i.e. Driving Distance, Additional Service & expenses etc.)

*Clients are required to Sign a Liability Waiver provided by your Guide before the trip.  

*Clients are responsible for acquiring the proper permits and purchasing state fishing licences before the trip. (Guide will let you know what to have prepared)

Here’s what you can plan to experience on one of our  guided trips:

1.) Locate the productive fly fishing hot spots.(Find out WHERE, WHEN and WHY the spots are "Hot")

2.) We will provide our clients with all the current information and specifics of the current hatches.patterns and successful flies

3.) Learn about the local fisheries, parking, access points and etiquette.

4.) Discover more about the local ecosystem and its effects on the rivers and streams.

5.) On the spot lessons and demonstrations of proven techniques adaptable to all levels of trout fishers. 

*We will take all the time necessary to ensure anglers learn the basic principles of fly fishing:

casting, presentation, knots, tools, technique, reading the water & safety. 

We are available but not limited to provide our services on the following river systems:

2.) Upper & Lower Housatonic Rivers ( Cornwall, CT to Gaylordsville NY)

This is a FREE event for our shop friends to come down to the Fly Shop and tie flies, learn new patterns, watch fly fishing films, share fishing stories and drink beer after hours.
Great opportunity for beginners to get a free Q & A regarding a fly patterns, fishing spots, river reports, or anything that may have you stumped. Any of our Anglers Den friends will be glad to help you to the best of their abilities.
