The Delaware system bumped massively in flow after all the rain that came in last week but its settling down nicely. Stillesville is running a steady 360 cfs, Hale Eddy is around 590 cfs. The water has cleared on the West Branch. The East Branch needed the rain that came in earlier in the week, Harvard has settled to a flow around 350 cfs, and Fishs Eddy is running around 1060 cfs. The Main Stem near Lordsville is running almost 2100 cfs. Bugs on the water are Blue Winged Olives, Cahills, and Isonychias are starting to pop of heavy. Dry fly fishing dial down and use smaller flies and long, light leaders to give yourself as much advantage as possible unless you start seeing fish targeting the larger ISO patterns. Nymphing has also been producing in the faster waters and under indicators in deeper pools. Streamers are effective searching patterns when not too much bug activity is going on and a consistant producer during Fall fishing.
